My Approach

​Compassionate
I care about what you are going through. I want to help you thrive on your journey towards better mental wellbeing so I will listen to your struggles and provide you with encouragement and support throughout therapy. I will encourage but I will not make you do things you do not want to ultimately do!
Collaborative
Working together in therapy is important. When you come for therapy, I see us as a team! We will work together to understand your difficulties and make the changes you need. This allows me to work closely with you and involve you in the therapy process from beginning to end.
Flexible
​I understand that your struggles and experiences are unique to you and that everybody’s needs are different. This is why I adapt therapy to suit your individual needs.
Encouraging
I am committed to helping you feel better and improve your wellbeing. I will do this by helping you to self-reflect which is a key part of therapy. I will guide you to utilise therapy tools so that you can achieve personal growth as well as sustained progress beyond therapy sessions.
Work with me
Therapy with me is a safe and non-judgemental space where you can express yourself openly. I will work with you to help you understand your difficulties, how they affect you, identify your goals for therapy and offer my expertise in how to tackle them through CBT. Through this work, we will create active, lasting change for your mental health and wellbeing.

Consultation – To decide whether CBT is right for you and whether I am a good fit for you as a therapist, I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to briefly discuss therapy and to answer any initial questions you might have.

Initial Sessions – The initial 3-4 sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss your concerns in detail. At the end of these appointments, we will collaboratively agree upon arranging further therapy sessions. Each initial session is scheduled for 60 minutes.

Treatment – After the initial sessions, we will begin working on your difficulties. Treatment sessions are 60 minutes.

CBT is provided on a 1:1 basis. Initial appointments and all further treatment appointments are at a fee of £85.
​
Number of sessions offered are typically between 6 - 20.

Sessions are offered online. Please enquire for up to date availability.

If we mutually agree to proceed with therapy sessions after the telephone consultation, you will be required to review the therapy agreement, which outlines relevant policies and procedures.
